Mesa, AZ School Superintendent Must Keep Money in the Classroom

Mesa, AZ School Superintendent Must Keep Money in the Classroom

February 21, 2015

Mesa's school superintendent is not spending money in the classroom.

Instead, funds appropriated to the school district are flowing away from Mesa's students and their teachers. Nearly two-thirds of Mesa's education dollars never reach the classroom. This is a major departure from national standards and is unacceptable for Arizona students. Call Superintendent Cowan and tell him to support Governor Doug Ducey's Classrooms First initiative.

Call Mr. Cowan at (480) 472-0200 and tell him that taxpayer dollars for schools belong in the classrom, not the pockets of special interests.
